Jane has lived in Australia now for some 21 years and has travelled extensively for both business and pleasure. Her family keeps her well rounded and grounded, but her passion for people, providing outstanding customer experiences and grabbing every opportunity, with the results that can be achieved, speaks for itself.
Jane has had extensive experience as a senior HR professional having had the pleasure of working in both large corporate and also smaller business both in the UK and here in Australia. This exposure has enabled her to shape her skills to adapt to the ever changing and agile environments.
While having a break in her career when Jane had her family, she started an events business in the UK and specialised in weddings and corporate marketing events. This was sold on leaving for Australia but these skills stayed with her when volunteering to organise a Millennium Ball for 400 in Sydney during 1999.
Jane also worked extensively with several real estate franchise groups to provide HR support and recruitment of sales consultants and property managers. This exposure gave her the understanding of the processes behind the industry and also just where improvements could be made. The level of service for instance, was sometimes not on top of the list for large franchises.
Having made the decision with her husband Rob, to finally move to Kangaroo Valley permanently and then to the Southern Highlands, Kangaroo Valley and Southern Highlands Escapes and Events was born.
