Where will I be?
Sky Ridge is located on the slopes of Mt Scanzi in a secluded location with fantastic, elevated views. It is about a 10 minute drive to the Kangaroo Valley Village, and and easy 5 minute drive to the local golf course.

How is the property laid out?
Sky Ridge is set over two levels, with an internal staircase that is just one of the many features of this house.
Upstairs - there are four queen bedroom pods, each with its own ensuite. Three have shower rooms and toilets, and one has a shower, toilet and free standing bath. Please note that the bedrooms have walls that do not extend fully to the ceiling above - as per the photos.
Downstairs - the open plan lounge-dining-kitchen area is enhanced with dual fire boxes, cathedral ceilings, stunning artwork and unique lighting. The retractable glass doors or over sized windows on all sides bring the outside in, and allow the air to freely circulate.
The kitchen has a Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine.
The house is solar powered (with back up trickle feed electricity), and has both rainwater tank and septic tank systems. It is essentially off the grid therefore.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi.
If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi.
Sky Ridge has a DVD / Blu-Ray player, sound system and many DVDs.
What about outdoors?
Sky Ridge is set on 10 acres of which about 1 acre is cleared with driveway and lawn areas, and the rest is native bush with mature trees and scrub. There is a gas BBQ for guest use, a hammock for guest use, a fire pit area near the house and a large timber deck / yoga deck.
When opened up, the house flows easily and naturally to the outdoor areas of the house.
Stay warm or keeping cool?
Cooling options include opening up the home to catch the breeze, utilising the large ceiling fans in the living area, or the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The other three bedrooms have moveable fans.
Heating is provided by electric bankets on each bed and the two large Jetmaster fire boxes downstairs that heat the whole home.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sky Ridge supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Sky Ridge has open air parking on the driveway for 2 - 4 cars. There is a turning circle in the driveway making it easy to enter and exit the property.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Dogs are welcome to stay at Sky Ridge provided they are kept on a leash while they are outside - to protect the local wildlife.
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
Easter: 4 nights
Long Weekends: 3 nights
All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
